Foreclosure sale and eviction timeline in Oklahoma

The period with in which the mortgage is transferred to foreclosure department will depend on state laws. In Oklahoma the foreclosure filling period is 90 days past due date of missed payments. After 90 days of missed payments, a foreclosure lawyer from the lender will contact you and inform you about the foreclosure fillings.
From the day of foreclosure fillings you will have 20 days time to respond. Meanwhile you can try different ways to stop foreclosure. At the same time the notice of foreclosure is recorded with county court with in which the property is located and sends to homeowner. The home owner is then given 90 days period from the date of filling to resolve the default.
Notice of sale: if the home owner does not resolves the default with in 90 days of record date of default then a notice of sale is recorded with court. The notice given states that the lender will sell the underlying property of the mortgage with in 21 days and is published in local county news papers for three consecutive weeks.
Auction: after 21 days of notice of sale recorded, the property is sold at foreclosure auction.
Eviction: once that property is sold at the foreclosure auction to the highest bidder then the owner has to evict the home with in 2 to 3 days after foreclosure date.
